Having problems installing the Bar in Firefox

If The Bar does not display in Fire Fox, left click on Tools >> click Add Ons >> click Tab Extension to make sure The Bar is present and enabled. If present but not enabled, left click to enable. This turns The Bar on and off directly from your browser.

If you don't see The Bar, determine if it was downloaded onto your computer. On your screen, click the Start button >> click Control Panel >> click Add or Remove Programs and look for The Bar. If there is no program titled The Bar, your download was incomplete. Go to www.invite5.com, sign in and click download. The Fire Fox download and install process is different than Internet Explorer and requires 2 steps. First is to download The Bar for installation. When the opening file box appears click 'save file'. The Fire Fox downloads box opens, double click TheBarSetupFF.exe. An 'open executable file' prompt then displays, click 'OK'.

The second step is to install The Bar. When the download prompt appears click 'run' each time. Do not click 'save' as this will not install The Bar. When the installer window displays, click 'install'. The install will occur and a prompt will ask you if you would like to close all windows to display The Bar on all browser windows. Click 'yes'. All windows will close and a new window opens with The Bar installed.

Having trouble installing TheBar in Internet Explorer

If The Bar does not display in Internet Explorer, right click the browser to make sure The Bar is present and with a checkmark. If present with no checkmark, left click to place a checkmark next to The Bar. This turns on and off The Bar directly from your browser.

If you have done all of this and are still having this problem, the good news is that TheBar will fully launch this week. At that time, everyone will have to uninstall and reinstall TheBar and most of these issues will be eliminated.
